Publication about Roman Duszek (born 1935) – graphic designer, professor teaching design in Poland and the United States, and creator of visual information systems. He is one of the most outstanding Polish graphic designers of the second half of the 20th century. Few artists had such an impact on the Polish visual reality of the last 60 years as he did. Author (together with Andrzej Zbrożek) of the groundbreaking identification system of LOT Polish Airlines (1976), the Bumar graphic sign (1972), the development of visual information for the Warsaw metro (1983, together with Ryszard Bojar), the Dziennik Telewizyjny sign (1980), the Victoria Hotel sign (1976) and many posters, packaging and covers, which are the everyday visual reality of several generations of Poles.
